Betta tank update!

I’m glad I got rid of all that color gravel because this looks way better.
UPDATE; I added plants into my tank ! What do you guys think? I do plan on maybe getting other things since I think it kinda looks empty , I like the wood piece in the middle of the tank but maybe over time I’ll move it.

I think the tank looks great. Perhaps add more plants. Bettas love them. Rough edges on wood or any addition can injure delicate fins.

What are the plants?

At least one looks a bit like Java fern, which should not be planted in the substrate.

If none of them are Java fern, ignore this post

Looks great, the plant on the right at the back is java fern, it will die if you bury the rhizome (the bit the leaves grow out of)...you need to pull it up and tie it to the wood with some cotton thread or you can glue it with some cyanoacrylate super glue it pulls its nutrients from the water column rather than the substrate

Maybe some stem plants in the back, or more java fern...but it looks really nice!
