Beginner Tank Setup

How can I make a 20 gallon tank look like a reefy/coral marine tank? I dont really like the driftwood and pirate ship tanks.

I want it to look like tha kind youd see in doctors offices and restuarants.

I know not to use real coral and anemenemies (spelling?) Can freshwater fish live in a tank like this?

I plan on having 2 angels and some smaller brightly colored fish.

I've seen lots of fake, plastic corals.. just be sure to get the sort rubbery ones and not the had rock-like ones. In case your fish rubs on them and gets a fin torn or something.

Would this be a suitable environment for fish? Would I need 'live' objects other than fish?
