Fish Crazy
I have two parrot fish im not sure if they are blood parrots am confussed they are peachy orange?? are the blood parrots or just parrot fish?
Parrots are completely different to "blood parrots". For true parrot, search for Hoplarchus psittacus (which yours are not).
The orange coloured, fancy hybrid which you have does come in many different colours ranging from off white to red, with many shades of yellow and orange in between.
Thank you for that Kitty Kat. Was not sure but does help to know.

do you have any problems with your servrums? Mine seem very spiteful is the only way i can put it. My parrots are forever chasing each other got used to them doing that. Do you know anything about oscar's? i will try and get you some pic's tonight when i get home from work.

My severum has a mild temperament for the most part, but yes he can seem spiteful also
He sometimes chases and takes a nip at my blood parrot (never does any damage whatsoever, though)
he doesn't seem serious as in trying to hurt her, and she completely ignores him when he does this anyways, it's quite funny.

The only time he gets a little more aggressive towards the BP is during feeding time, but once again he may just frantically chase her away from a piece of food,
never does any harm, and she just comes right back haha.

Other than that, they stay peaceful together.
Severum's temperaments are all different also, some are big softy's and very peaceful and calm, while others can be a bit territorial and want to be dominant.
do you have any problems with your servrums?
