are there any plant's

i have a small ten gallon tank with 30 watt's of light and a white sand substrate.Iwanted to know if i can grow any type of aquatic plant in there?and if not why?thank's in advance.

You can grow most plants in sand. Don't think sand compaction will have THAT big of an impact on the plant's roots. I had some kind of sword, hygro. polysperma, rotala indica, pennywort, val, hairgrass and they all grow in my sand.
