i have a red clawed crab i feed him plenty of vegetables but i figured he needed some plants to help with the water quality. i had some low light crypts in there and he shredded or ate them, so i tried a amzon sword and he uprooted it and shredded the leaves. so i figured maybe i'd try some floating plants and put some floating anarchis in there and he grabbed it pulled it under and ate most of it in a day or two. i'm beginning to think he'll eat any plant i put in there. so i was waondering if anone knows of any plants i could safley put in the tank that he crab wont shred or eat?

hmmm i think you have a very greedy crab. my redclaw has an african sword and various grassy types which he sits in more than eats. Try plants that have waxy leafs

When I had RCC's they left Java Fern and Cryptocoryne Wendtii alone.
They loved Java Moss, Corkscrew Vallisneria, Duckweed, and Brazilian Waterweed.
