All about angelfish

Im going to soon be setting up a 100g tank, not sure of measurements yet, but i think its very deep, and probably pretty tall.

I want to get a Red Oscar, some more SD's for it. Today, someone called (a friend) saying they had two 4 inch angels that they wanted to give away. Would they go well with the Oscar? My fish-intuition says no

I think that your intuition is correct, Oscars are quite agressive. But in such a large tank there might be a possibility. If you create many terratorial breakers such as rocks and plants there might be a chance that the angles will do ok- they will be able to hide if chased. Could you give it a try and if it doesn't work, give them back?

I think the oscars will maul the angels. I wouldnt do it.

Unfortunately 100 gallons sounds large on average, but Oscars are huge fish that will make it seem much smaller. Bad idea.

I would think that the Oscar would stress the Silver Dollars out WAY too much, don't you guys!???

FWIW, I also say no to the angel/oscar combo. I see territorial issues with that!
