I've still got algae on my java moss. How to I remove it without hurting/breaking the plant?

a tooth brush (unused of course) can be used to remove algae, just draw it throw the moss, its what I do and yes I do get small bits of java moss that come off but its nothing compared to the entire mass of the moss.

Easiest way is unfortunately to prune the moss. Moss responds well to being pruned anyway, growing back a bit bushier
