Good morning :kana:

Ive purchased some medication to add to my garden pond (approx.950 gallons),but im not sure if i have the calculations right.
On the bottle it says "1ml per 4 gallons".......not sure if ive done it correct, but does this mean that for my pond,i have to add 256ml.??? :dunno:
It sounds rather a lot to me.

1ml per 4 gallons = 237.5
but is the volume of your pond in uk gallons
and is the medication in uk gallons?

whats the medication for ? i normally have to buy a couple for total treatment of pond ,if you dont wanna treat the whole pond do it as a dip by just making a few gallons,if you are gonna treat the whole pond dilute the medication first and add it slowly to avoid toxic shock

This can often be the problem with medicating whole ponds, you have to buy about five bottles of medicine  . If you are treating a single fish or a few fish this is where a smaller quarantine pond comes in very handy. :)
