whitefungus

Hi there,   One of my neons ages ago started getting white fungae. I couldn't bare to flush him cause i felt bad and figured it wasnt spreading so should be right. Now i noticed some others maybe getting it :( What's the best thing to do??? If you need pics let me know :)
