hello everyone i have a 9 inch common pleco that is about 7 years old im moving it in 2 a 5ft x 2ft x 2ft tank can i have more than 1 pleco in their an if i did would he/ she fight with any others i did have a baby golden nugget but it died about 6 months ago for some unknown reason didnt look as if it had be attacked

I don't think the plecos will bug each other in a tank that size, but it does depend on how many other fish you are going to have.

really - What were they?

Most plecs will get on ok if they have enough hiding places - we have 8 in our 4ft Rio 240 with no problems at all.

6 in our 350l trigon
5 in out 4ft 180l
and 4 in our 4ft 100l...

No problems with any of them.

No problems with any of them.

They were 3 sailfin plecs, One would constantly chase the other 2 about and there was hiding places to spare everywhere. Its possible that this particular pleco was just mental. This is the one I kept incidentaly.

I have never seen a pleco be aggressive.

if i add a pleco tablet for him he will be aggressive 2 my gourma for some reason
