HI EvERYONE!!

man its been a while since Ive posted anything in the forum..
so now we have 3 tanks up and running (not including our hospital tank)
I never thought we could fill our lounge with so much fish and water.. its not so much a hobbie now as it is an obsession.. hehe :
so we now have a 45 gallon tank as well as our 20 in the lounge..
so far we have filled it with 2 large silver dollars.. 2 dwarf gouramis.. including our powder blue as well, we have our plec in there.. one of our Ramirezi's and 1 cardinal tetra and 5 neon tetras.. (we are waiting for our LFS to get more cardinals in as we want a whole schoal )
we did have some freshwater shrimps in the tank, 2 of them.. but for some reason they died so I dont know if we will get any more of those.. u may have saw the pics that Budmaster posted of them in the pic area.. someone said they were really evil.. so maybe it wasnt a bad thing that they died.. I duno..
anyway, Ill stop being so slack and try and keep up with u guys again, its nice to be back!

excuse my ignorance- but what is a Balloon Ramirezi? I know of the Gold, the German, the Blue, the Bolivian- but a Balloon? I am sooo curious!

hey EMdina,
well its just like a normal larger Ramirezi, except they are alot rounder and smaller than the average Ram.(I think they are a hybrid breed) check out this link to the pictures of our rams on our site Our Ballon Ramirezi's

I absolutely love it!!! I like the roundness to their bodies...and smaller is good- I call my tank the 'micro' tank, as all of my fish are rather tiny...
I have a Blue Ram- and love him...but, I might have to keep my eye out for a Balloon...I love Rams...they're so pretty!
