I saw my lfs put out a bunch of these platies (all kinds) and they are really really big!!!
The size is at least 2.5-3.5 inches!!!!!!
They are really fat and sell for 5.99 cdn
Are they really platies or is it another fish?

And they are HUGE, aren't they?! I think they are just "Jumbo Platys", or that is what they sell them around here as. Good looking fish, though. Be good in a big tank for free food for the bigger fish
