As I'm sure you've guessed by now, this topic is about poo. :hyper:

For the past few days, one of my platies was getting a little big, so I thought I was going to have my first batch of fry. I came home from school, to find that she was now small again with a strand of poo three times as long as she was hanging out of her. I didn't even think that was possible.

If she gone thin sure she hasn't had fry and the fish have eaten them.
Long stringy white poo can be constipation, bacterial, to internal parasites.

I'm pretty sure that if she did give birth that the fry could easily hide- I have a very large fake plant with many leaves on one side of my tank.

The poo wasn't stringy or white, just a very long normal one.

Thats fine then.
Frozen peas cooked for a few minutes, let cool down, pop out of shell, mush between fingers and add to the tank.
