while down the wifes dads house we were in the loft cleanning it out when i found his old fish tank and loads of kit pumps and that.

but its from between 83-96 got loads of meds and ph testers and that i know i would not use the meds but i used the ph tester drops and was bang on with the readings from me new kit

do you think the same with the meds as i see no out of date on the meds

i have the tank up and running and the wife aint relised

I wouldn't use the old meds. If you've tested the old PH stuff and it seems to work, then that'll probably be fine, but medication would be difficult to test out without possibly harming your fish. Iv got some old powdered water conditioner from 96-97 that works fine, and an ancient PH kit that has yet to fail me. But i wouldn't recommend useing anything liquid that your unsure of. Better safe than sorry.
