What is the differenc between bogwood and drift wood?
Does driftwood release tannins aswell as bogwood?

no it has had all it's tannins leeched out.

Which is the best for pleco species?

bogwood as this still has lignum which is what wood eating plec need for their digestive system

Could i put both in? I love the root shaped ones. Are the tannins good or bad for the fish as im already told that its good but might as well be safe and ask again?

there is no reason not to use both
yes the tannins contain humic acids and other base elements that many fish appreciate
