Will This Be A Good Setup?

Hi, just want to post my setup and want your opinon... :good:

55 Gallon-

Sand

6 bunches of live plants

2 rocks

2 peices of long bockwood.

sponge power filter

heater

air pump

30 cm air stone

light.


Fish-

6 zabra danios

6 neon tetras

4 rosy barbs

2 bristle nose catfish

4 platies

4 gupies 1 snail.

sounds ok fish wise, on a 55gal tank i'd want to have an external cannister filter though
 
I agree, an external filter will give you much better filtration, especially with Plecos as they are big waste producers.
 
at least two of your fish are messy. Snails (though excellent at claening up) also poop a lot, I have apple snails and they seem to poop more than my fish, though they are well trained and always seem to do it by the filter intake ;) I'd put more thought into the filtration it will pay for itself time and time again. If working to a budget you'd be better dropping the airpump and airstone and using the money towards a reasonable filter.
 
Well I'm going to see when i get the tank.
