I just switched one of my puffer tanks to sand. It's still a litlle cloudy. I can see through the tank and all, it's just not crystal clear. If I put some puffers in there will they be ok?
thanks!

I couldn't tell you for sure, but every time I start a new tank I find it impossible to get all the dust out the substrate, and so when I change water/vacum etc for the first few times it gets real cloudy. I've not had a fish die because of it though.

put a large bit of floss in your filter that will remove the dirt, no it shouldn't harm the fish.

I think some fish like it :p Their gills should filter out anything that could harm them from the cloud anyway :p Other than that most of the particles in the clouds are too small to do any harm :)

ok. the clound is from sand and i'm new to sand. Plus I'm new to puffers so I wasn't sure. thanks for your help. :)
