Will Black Neon Tetras School/shoal With Wc Mountain Minnows?

Hi, I was wondering if my Black neon tetras would school with some WC mountain minnows if I got some, and how often does it happen? I want to add something different to my school of fish, and I think if the black neons and minnows would school together it would look nice.

Oh yeah, if there are any other suggestions for a hardy fish that will school with Black Neons, I would like to know. Thanks.

Tetras (well, black and green and gold neons in my case, mostly) DO, in fact, shoal with WC mountain minnows!

My neon tetras *ALWAYS* hang out with the minnow, so. It's true! ^^;

our minnows shoal together, but not with our neons, they sort of, mingle at times but they both tend to keep themselves to themselves

Okay, so it sounds like this doesn't happen a lot. I only have3 black neons(I'm getting 4 more next week, didn't want to kill the bioload), do you think I should just get 4 more black neons, or get another species so they can shoal together? I am going to have the black neons for a while, because I'm waiting for the tank to get more mature so I can add the Dwarf Gouramis(4 more months!), so I'd like to have something a little different with the black neons for that long time... Any suggestions?
