Why only 1 fry a drop?

I've had guppies for about 3 month s now and I only have 2 fry. 1fry was born in my 10 galon before i got my new tank. If there were more they couldn't have gotten eaten because it was born in a breeder net. Then about 3-4 days ago i got 1 more born in the breeder net. How come every1 else us getting like 10 guppies at a time and i get 1? can some1 please help.

Did you actually witness the mom giving birth? How long was she in the breeder afterwards? She may have eaten a few before you took her out.

i had same prob mate only one then watched her then watched and nothing, must be one of those things she may have ate them or just being difficult and giving birth to just the 1 was she new from birt (e.g first batch) as this may affect the number dropped

yesterday a different guppy had 9 new babies in the breeder. Maybe it was the 2 other guppies if they were young or sumthing.
