Why Is It Getting Worse?

Hi,

My severums got ich or white spot.

Anyway i went to my LFS got some maracid and put it in every second day and my gold sev is healy but my green sev is just getting worse!
Ive took out the black carbon ,my water stats are fine.
What the matter with him

Just raise the temp to 30.
Plenty of aeration as the high temp and med reduce 02 in the water.

The temp speeds the life cycle of the parasite up.

Ive had to black carbon out since tuesday. do u think it would harm the tank if i left it out longer?

You don't need black carbon in the filter. It's only good for removing meds.
Using black carbon all the time is a complete waste of money.
It's only affective for 2 to 9 days, then it's useless.

Once black carbon drys out it's useless.

It's hard to say as every tank different.
Sometimes it can take two rounds of meds to get rid of whitespot.
It's all best to treat another week once spots have gone.
