Who's The Mumma?

Hi all

After feeding my fish last night I noticed about a dozen white eggs stuck to the side of my tank. I have scrapped them off and put them in a breeding net, dunno if I've done the right thing here as I've only had livebearers before, but anyway....

The fish I have in the tank are.......

3 x clown loaches

6 x corys, 4 bronze and 2 peppered

and tetras.....

4 x bleeding hearts

8 x neons

3 x black

3 x silver tipped

and some apple snails

I have have a read about but not come up with an answer to who's the mumma??

I've never bred them but I think it would be good if you could set up an air curtain or a bubbler underneath the breeding net so they get oxygen, or move the eggs into a tub and do the same

It looks like your corys are spawning!

Once corys start spawning, you may see eggs on a fairly regular basis. If you want to try to hatch raise some of them, please post in the Corydoras section. We'll be happy to help you do it.

If the eggs were above the water level they are apple snail eggs, if they were laid below the water level they are cory eggs.

Now I know they are cory eggs I will post in the cory section.

I need all the help I can get in trying to hatch them

Sorry I didn't make myself clear on whereabouts the eggs were, in or out of the water, I now know they are cory eggs, wasn't sure if they were tetra eggs as I couldn't find much out about tetras eggs and they are definately not apple snail eggs as I've had my fair share of them to date.
