Yesterday I discovered I am hopeless at using the GoPro on a fish tank - so today I had a little practice. (not quite there yet but perhaps a limitation of the camera)
This is what happened when I turned off the HOB remotely from across the room. No food was involved :D

But when I do feed I always turn the filter off first, and the feeding hatch is directly in front of the HOB.

I read a study where zebra fish 🎣 were placed in a tank where they would receive a mild shock if they occupied the left hand side of the tank. The study was designed to assess whether zebra fish could measure the passage of time. So the shock occurred five seconds after a tank light was turned on. And the shock only occurred when the fish were in the left hand side of the tank. Before long the fish not only learned to vacate the left side of the tank when the light went on but the fish would linger in the left hand side from 1 to 4.5 seconds after lights on before scooting to the other side of the tank. The fish could sense the passage of time.
