Do a 30% water change and turn your heater up to 28C, come tomorrow or maybe next day the white spots should of fell off the fish, thats when you start treatment :)

5teady your a star m8y thanx for the advice it wont kill my fish by tomoz will it lol only noticed the spots this mornin
:good:

No it shouldnt do, usually when people treat whitespot, they up the temp for 1-2 days before treating.

:)

Good luck :)

just turned the temp up fingers crossed how has the whitespot got in to my tank do you think
:good:

Stress or bad water quality can cause whitespot, whats your water stats?

ammonia 0ppm nitrite 0ppm nitrate 6ppm this is ok isnt it? also what treatment do you recommend and do you think a tenner will cover the cost im only treating a 20g

there is one called ws3, waterlife do a whitspot treatment as well, think its protozin the one waterlife does....

I use interpet no 6 though

You will get any of the above meds for less than £5
