White Fuzz On Driftwood

i recently put some african driftwood on my newly started 80 gal. and noticed some white fuzz that spread on the wood then turned grey. i put some plant bulbs in the tank and now the white fuzz is on some of them too. i think this is a fungus but i am not sure. i need help to get rid of it so i can continue on with my tank. pls help.

Its sounding like slime mould. Ive had it on a piece of wood before and could never get rid of it, eventually i binned the wood and replaced it. I tryed bleaching, boiling and baking to no avail

I have had it too on wood, it went away of its own accord after a few weeks, its not attractive but didnt do any harm that I could see.
