I'm interested to know what the most you have spent on one single item of equipment and what it was.

Did you find it hard to justify the expense to yourself or your partner?

Was it a large proportion of your weekly or monthly income? (I realise that's a personal question so don't feel obliged to answer).

How did you feel after buying it; elated, guilty or indifferent?

Was it worth the money in your opinion - did it do the job above and beyond expectation or was it a disappointment?

I bought a 40 Gallon tank. It was only $39.99 USD, but we returned a duplicate DVD I got for my birthday and returned a bunch of pop cans, otherwise she never would have let me upgrade. Thankfully, everything from the 20 long fits on the new tank
