What Type Of Wood?

I have just removed some mopani wood from my tank as it smelt really bad and was causing the tank to smell as well!

However, I do want some wood in the tank, any suggestions?

Is bog wood the best (as I have now been put off mopani)?

How do you treat it, just soaking for a few days?

i have a peice of mopani wood in my aquarium - i soaked it for 2 days before rincing it a few times and then puttng it in the tank - it dosnt smell and the waters fine - im not sure where you got yours from but mine had a 'aquarium fish ornament' tag on it, so dont know if it had been pre-treated or what
