What To Do?

What to do? My Gibbicep has got to about 7" and has out grown his cave but he doesn't seem to realize?? In the tank there are several uninhabited bigger caves he could use but he sticks to his original choice and i'm starting to notice that he now has a bit of a curve when he is out from where he cramps himself in the cave.

Whatever anyone says about them being messy, he does an awsome job of keeping the tank clean so i'm reluctant to put him in the bigger tank downstairs cos he would have to compete with the chinese algae eater for food, maybe it is time tho, what to do???

I know they get huge and i am quite prepared to set up a small lake in the kitchen for him when it is time (i'm quite looking forward to it actually) but for now I just have to work out why he is not sensible enough to move to another cave?!

Anyone had this issue?

take out his cave he has now perhaps...and aren't gibbi's algae eaters or when they are bigger do they not go for the algae??...

Its a bit tricky to take out the cave, he's in the red'n'black tank and all the caves are linked up http/www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=163651&hl=

I believe they do slow down on the algae eating, as do the chinese algae eaters apparently but they are both doing a good job of it at the moment.
