What To Do With My Pleco

so all of my fish died from ich except for the pleco hes still living strong. i want to thouroly clean my tank out and i dont really want the pleco either...any ways to get rid of him while not being mean?

Wont you LFS take it off your hands?

Only prob is, i dont know if plecs can get ich (whitespot) and its not really fair for you to take the plec in your tank water to LFS or whoever gets the plec, because it may contaminate thier tank also.

Why not just treat the tank see the treatment through, then go from there, seems the best way to go about it to be honest.

I would take him to the LSF. You can donate him however; I would treat him first as suggested. Plecos can get ick but there tough so be sure to treat him as well.
