What To Do With A 126 Ltr Tank

After upgrading and moving all my fish from their 126 ltr to a new 200 ltr, I now have an empty tank and am trying to decide what to do with it.

Maybe set up another community tank? perhaps go for Cichlids? Maybe some sort of oddball or species tank? Perhaps even cross over to the salty side? (Though I'm a bit scared by that thought).

So many options!

What would you suggest?

u could use it as a massive breeding tank.

ive just set up another tank for the purpose of breeding smart and rare guppies, this was done because the up keep of my main tank tends to cost a bit so im gunna use the money from the sale of these guppies to fund the up keep of both the tanks and maybe one more that im not sure what it will be but marine does sound like a challenge but it would be rewarding if it works out.. maybe you could use this tank to fund both of yours, you could breed any fish, its up to you, i choose guppies as they are fast breeders, what type would choose if that was a good idea for you?

Oooohhh, I do like the idea of trying to breed fish. Hadn't thought about that one.

No idea what I would try to breed, though. Start with easy fish, i guess.. I need to do some research on that one!!

you cant get easier that a livebearer

if its to cover tank cost then choose something that people would cut you hands off to get

im not plugging it but guppies, rare and true breeds, they are fast at breeding and hopefully keeps iasmall amount of money coming in, you can also exchange fry for food, plants or new fish for your main tank etc... at your LFS]

I think the problem with breeding is ideally you need more than 1 tank, unless you divide of course

Throw a bunch of various bog wood in there and try to breed some kind of pleco. You could also set up a huge various colored-shrimp aquarium, with some small fish in there.

I like the idea of breeding and would love to give bristlenose plecs a go. I'm gonna have to do some reading!

Any other ideas?

maybe a pair of apistos (continuing with breeding theme), they are colourful and the fry are usually rarer - you might be able to sell instead of giving away lol
