I have 3 stocking theme options rolling around in my head for when I get my new 40 gallon breeder tank in a few months. I was wondering if I could get some opinions on this from all of you.

1) Dr. Axelrod themed tank.
- as you probably know Dr. Herbert Axelrod discovered several, commonly kept species of fish. I was planning on setting it up with fish that are all named for him

2) A South American Creek Biotope.
- This would consist of a dark colored sand substrate, a lot of branchy driftwood and a few amazon swords. Stocking would probably be some tetras (probably Cardinals), hatchets, apistos and cories. Or a mix of them.

3) Discus tank.
- Do I have to explain this one?

Hmm, all three are all very interesting! Out of the three though, I am leaning towards Dr. Axelrod theme and the Discus tank. It's always been a dream of mine to have a few Discus in my 75G.

I would probably go for the Discus tank. I think it will be more of a challenge and the colors will definately pay off.

[e] changed my mind :D South American Creek Biotope because it sound so nice
