I have a community tank mainly with live bearers in it, but i have a single Tiger barb in the tank and he has what i can only describe as green ich. Its like green sparcles on him, i have asked the fish shop and they dont know what it is. I have even used Pimafix incase it was some form of fungus and no luck. The barb is still eating and everything and is doing well and actually looks nice but i know hes not supposed to be like it, anyone know what this is?? Any help is appeciated. Thanks. :S

Sure its not just a green tiger? lol, else I would of thought fungus aswell.

Are you positive it's just not oddly colored scales?

One of my mollies has a few gold scales and they're very reflective, thought something was wrong when they showed up too.

I dont think its algae because algae isnt sparkly and its not growing or anything. Thanks for the site tho, ill check it out. :)

I dont think so Because its in tiny specals smaller than its scales. I really dont know wat it is :S

Is it on the black bars of the tiger barb? Cuz if so, then it could just be a male ready to mate.
