I'm getting 4 juvie keyhole cichlids in my 33 gallon this year. Trying to make a pair.
My only problem is, I'm wondering what I should do after that. Would it be possible to keep all 4 in the 33 gallon?
I have never seen a keyhole past the 4" mark, so I don't think having 2 or 3 is going to be an issue.
I know very well that they are cichlids, and that they are predators. The one I have currently likes to go for my poor otos, so I had to get a tank divider for the Quarantine tank lol. So definitely something tougher that the keyhole won't think of us food. In the 33 gallon currently is a 5" BN Pleco, abd that's it.
Any and all suggestions welcome. Thanks.
