What Else Should I Add?

30 gallon tank
Heres what i got:

3 opaline gouramis (2 females 1 male i think)
6 tiger barbs
3 bosemani rainbow
2 black molly

Here what i know i need:
An algae eater( not sure what i want I was thinking flying foxes and a pleco)

Other wise i want all the suggestions you got.

you never NEED an algea eater. there have been huge arguements, and almost all conclude that. You can wipe that yourself


what you do need to do is up that shoal of rainbows to 6, the magic shoal number.

edit: If you really want something to eat algea, go with a Bristle Nose plec for that kinda tank. Albinos are stunning.

a few apple snail - mystery snails could help algea problem

more mollies and rainbows

or maybe shoal of cory cat

Well i still wanna add maybe 3 flying foxes and a bristle nose cause i simply like them and think they are great looking fish. Would that be ok?

Ill get 3 more rainbows and maybe mollies if i see anything i like.

Any other suggestions

I think flying foxes will need a bigger tank becasue they are very active fish. Also, mollies are brackish. Getting the 3 bosemanis will pretty much finish it anyway. I wouldn't get the plec.

I did more reading on flying foxes and everything kinda confused me. Do they get super aggressive or not? Im considering not getting them anymore. If anyone has information on them please let me know.

Heres the latest on what i decided to add:
2 more tiger barbs
4 more bosemani(they have them 4 for 20 at my lfs instead of each one for 5.99)
A bristle nose or some other kind of interesting plec cause
i was also considering a shoal of cory cats as i do need some bottom dwellers for the tank.
or yoyo loaches?

What do you all think?
Anyone got any other suggestions?
