I bought 2 balloon mollies on Sunday. Monday morning I awake to find 3 or 4 visable fry. i was so happy but now, I cant see any!

Unfortunatly alot of times the parents will in turn eat the young fry. Dont dispair though, if you have a male and female you will have plenty more fry then you'll know what to do with.

but i have read that they will have more than just 3 fry. did they eat all of them in 1 day?

What you have read is correct, they do usually have more then 3. Thee others may have already been eaten or she could have gave birth to them prior to you bring them home.
