Hi, I recently had Oscars in my tank with a pleco and i returned them recentley and now am going with a comunity tank. So the question is I have 10.6 ounces of color enhancing 3 mm sinking pellets from New Life Spectrum Lg. Fish Formula and 1.58 ounces of Tetra Cichlid cichlid Flakes, also i have 1.41 ounces of Hikari Algae Wafers. So do I keep theis foods for my community tank? I intend to have a few loaches or corys and Ram cichlids. Otherwise its just tetras and platys with them. advice would be appreciated.

Worth keeping :) might want to break them up a bit for the smaller fish though.

i wouldn't feed cichlid food to non-cichlid community fish. you could donate them to your lfs for some store credit or sell them for cheap on craigslist.

Just break up the New Life Spectrum pellets so your smaller fish can eat them, it's an excellent all around fish food. The color enhancing flakes should be just fine, and the algae tabs will most likely get eaten as well. If you were to compare the ingredients on the food to have to "standard" tropical fish flakes, you'd find they are very similar, if not identical. :good:
