What Do Assassin Snails Eat?

i have 5 assassins snails in my 60l aquarium and ive had them for about 3 or 4 months now, but ive never fed them anything. They seem to be doing just fine but im not sure what they actually eat, i know they like to eat other snails but they are the only ones in the tank, does anyone know how they survived this long??

If there are no pest snails for them to eat, they will survive on left over food, plant debris and the like.

mine eat shrimp pellets, flake, bloodworms, once they got hold of a dead shrimp. they will just scavenge around but they do like a meaty treat

mine seem to be doing fine without meat, maybe theyre eating some of the betta food i put in, either way i will try to get some bloodworm next time im at my lfs. thanks

yeah i think they get by on bits of this and that, if you give bloodworm they should come out waving their long 'noses' in search of worm and then wrap themselves around them. i do love assassins
