There is a disease in my tank, but I have know idea what it is. So far it has killed one neon tetra, and another one is showing symptoms. The first symptoms show up about two weeks before death, little cysts in the neon's belly. The cysts slowly grow for a week and a half, and by this time the fish's back is curved  . A few days later the fish starts swimming vertically, and randomly, and within 48 hours, it is dead. :( What disease could this be? The fish that died didn't show any signs of fading, it was actually more colorful than a few of my healthy neons. Also, its behaviors didn't change until very near the end. I really need to know what diesease it is so I can get some medication if there is any for it.

im not sure exaclty what it is but its very treatable ,just go to petsmart and tell symptoms, something i had ,had the same thing, its very treatable and the product shouldnt cost more then 3 bucks

Mmmm, def don't add any new fish to your tank, this sounds like Fish TB!!!! If it is I'm afraid it's incurable. Google will give you more info.

Thats probably fish tuberculosous. Nothing like the human kind. Cysts grow within the belly or muscles of the victim. They can burts and rupture within the spine causing the back to become deformed. Eventually fatal and almost uncurable. But treat for a bacterial infection asap. Remove and quarantine sick fish, or euthanize them as it can be fairly contagious.
