What fish can i put in this container, this is the dimensions :)

Hight - 10inch
Length - 6 1/2inch
debth - 6 1/2 inch

it is a glass container used for flower, sugar etc, the top is round like a fish bowl, it is fairly tall and square. i was just wondering cus maybe it can make a nice home for a fish.

Consider how much space there will be after filtration, heater, decor and substrate.

i found a jar similour to the one i have, this one is round mine is square. and it says 2 gallons.

only thing you can keep in that is a betta and that would be at a real push as said before. bettas have been known to be kept in tanks as little as 1 gallon and have lived however this is tradgic (sp) for the fish and will not be able to live up to its potential (4 years) bettas need atleast 6gallons of water to be able to live this long.
however if you are going to dissobay the advice given and put a betta in it then please by all means let it have access to air dont cover the top up compleately. these fish need air to live thats why they can survive in such small tanks because they can use air as a source of survival when kept in stagnant water.

What's that thing on the right ? ? ? ?
i have no idea, i found the image on photobucket. :)

- k perhaps a betta is not the way to go, i do not want to harm or make any fish unhappy. is this all that i can put in here.. i guess i will toss the jar in the garbage hehe.

yep. thats all. i think you could put 1 neon tetra in there but that would be neglect as they like to be kept in shoals of ateast 6.
mabee a sparkling gourami. i had never heared of these until yesterday when at my lfs. they are tiny. it has a lil sign saying adult size 3cm

BTW, that 'thing' is a Beer Foamer.

You stick it in the beer (in the jar) and connect 100 volts to those leads...

...God only knows why though!

Sparking gouramis need like at least a 10 gallon I think. They are small like dwarf gouramis, but they need some room some room to swim.

yep i was thinking the same thing.
bettas need 1g min. they can do perfectly fine in a 1g if you keep up on waterchanges. if filtered you need weekly waterchanges and if not waterchange every 3 days. they need a heater, (hydor mini) and some substrate. i dont see why you couldnt keep a betta in there as long as you take good care of it.

and btw bettas can live 5 years+. some say up to 10 years with proper care but i think thats pushing it.
