What can I feed my Platys?

They may munch on live plants and de-thawed peas, if thats what your thinking. Also if you have algae tabs they may also nibble on those. My guppies will eat anything, from algae on the walls, reg. flakes, tubifex worms, bood worms, brine shrimp pellets, even betta food! I'm sure you'll have no problem finding something new for your platy. :)

I feed mine flake food, mushed up thawed peas, frozen bloodworm, frozen brine shrimp, frozen daphnia, live bloodworm, live brine shrimp and they eat algae from the leaves of my plants... they also eat the leftovers of cockle in the shell that my puffer doesnt eat.

Try them on algae wafers and catfish pellets too...just experiment and give them what they like. :)

i just feed my platies hikari flakes and freeze dried bloodworms and sun dried baby shrimp. i love to watch them eat ^_^

Platy eats just about everything - pretty much all brands of flakes and pelletes including spirulina flakes. They also eats just about all freeze dried food as well. They are one of the least picky eaters from my experience.

Thanks everyone. I tried cooked broccoli and they weren't sure at first but ate it in the end! :D
