That's a very vague question.

Clown loaches grow big but slowly so will need a good tank. They like groups and have good personalitles all of mine were different the way they acted etc.

Anything else you want to know?

When there out and about they are great to watch, however, mine like to play the "how many loaches can you fit under a piece of bog wood" game alot. It's amusing but they are good at hiding when they want to.

Oh yeh, as has already been said, they're big fish when they grow up so be prepaired to get a big tank at some stage, preferable now;).

Paul.

Sorry, my reply was to your original post before I knew how big your tank was (think we were both typeing at the same time :) ), 350L sounds plenty big enough.

Paul.

I'm no expert but I do know they're very sociable fish that need to be with there own kind and as far as I know they are very peacefull towards other tank mates, a bit like Cory catfish in that respect. The more the merrier, 2 would be the bair minimum, 1 would get lonesome and stressed, I've got 3 (hav'nt got round to updating my sig yet).

Hope that helps.

Paul.

They are shoaling fish. The more the better, depending on how much room you have. 5 is a good number for them to be happy. You're looking at them getting up to a foot long though, over the next 30 years, and they should be approaching 6" within a year or two.

5 is the minimum number for clown loaches IMO, no 350L won't be big enough for them for life, as adults they can be 12" I would say a 6'x2'x2' would be minimum or at a push a 5'x2'x2' this is well over 350L closer to 600L. They do grow slow but mine reached 8" in about 5 years.

I got 2 in a 55g and at first the bigger one liked to attack the other inhabitants. After a while he stopped so I'd suggest to get more than 2. They are quirky and make clicking noises when being fed or happy. Mine like to smack a thermometer off the glass and it makes a huge noise. You probably already know but they like to sleep on their sides.

I think its worthwhile saying that they are prone to ich particularly when introducing them too...

Mine in the whole 8 years i had them never had ich.

Or yeah BTW they are community fish IME.

Along the same lines... I would love some loaches in my tank. But i have a red tailed shark and these can be terratorial, any thoughts???
