It was a 9 hour drive. Its about 100 here now. Luckily we left around 5:30 am and it was pretty cool for most of the drive. The fish were in the coolers for about 12 hours total. They all lived and look fine now. I have been checking the water and so far doesn't seem that I will see a mini-cycle.   Now I just have to find a few good LFS and get my 29 gal up and running. I removed the UGF because there was quite a bit of gunk under the plates. I'll leave it out and I also positioned the powerheads to blow down onto the gravel, hopefully to keep waste suspended till the filters pick it up. Water is all clear now too.

Just thought i'd share with ya'llz.

Well done - it's one of the most stressful things - moving house - and even more stressful when fish are involved.

Did you bag up your fish? Could you give me any pointers as i could be moving house soon as mum and dad are thinking of moving.

I have mainly livebearers, neons, goldfish, cories and white cloud mountain minnows.

Here is a link to a thread I posted awhile back involving moving. Check it out, this is how I transported my fish. I moved them about 400 miles.
