It was a 9 hour drive. Its about 100 here now. Luckily we left around 5:30 am and it was pretty cool for most of the drive. The fish were in the coolers for about 12 hours total. They all lived and look fine now. I have been checking the water and so far doesn't seem that I will see a mini-cycle.
Now I just have to find a few good LFS and get my 29 gal up and running. I removed the UGF because there was quite a bit of gunk under the plates. I'll leave it out and I also positioned the powerheads to blow down onto the gravel, hopefully to keep waste suspended till the filters pick it up. Water is all clear now too.
