It can be an ornament or a fish

Oh I bet you do (you just don't know it) Mine has to be the black marble angle I think because of the colour with my carribean look tank he really stands out

i've got a centre piece fish. He's a beautiful red gourami called george and he rules the roost. lol He lives in my only cobomba plant and woe betide anyone who disturbs him. I put in some cucumber the other day and he very nearly burst himself. He decided that the cucumber was his and his alone and ate some then as soon as another fish started eating it he'd chase them off and eat some more. By the next day he had a belly like a beer barrel!! I had to take it out before he popped!!!

In my living room: Either my rock slide or my two bala's (both are bout an 1" bigger than in the pic and quite a bit fatter :D they are both about 6 inches now. growing up quite fast on me :) )

In my room: My 4 inch and very fat Jack Dempsey :D :D

I've got 2 Blood Parrots in one tank, and 2 baby Gold Severum's in the other tank - they're my centrepieces.

in my 2ft : has to be the kribs , 4ft: either my oscars or my jd, im my other 2ft: marble angel or the 2 keyholes.

Probably my Gourami. No offense to the Colombian tetras, but he is the prettiest fish. :p

in m tank upstairs it has to be my red dwarf gourmie / plecs

and in ym 5ft downstairs tank it will probs be my blue dwarf gourmies/ clown loach

yes im gourmie mad :) im gonna get a species tank hopefuly :D

In my main tank atm it would have to be my two whiptail catfish. Once I buy a larger tank (next year hopefully) I am going to try breeding my eels so hopefully then it will be baby peacock eels, I'm not holding my breath though

Fish-wise it has to be this guy:

Ornament-wise, nothing really. we have two good size hunks of bogwood in there:

Hmmm...I don't seem to have much in the way of centrepieces. In my big tank, it would probably be my male bristlenose- he's a handsome fellow!- except he spends all his time in the amphora, fanning his babies. Oh hang on, perhaps the amphora can count as a centre piece. Or better, amphora with bristlenose known to be in it.
Fry tanks don't have centrepieces, and fish that hide (species tank) don't really make good centrepieces either. In the cory tank, my big anubias plant might be the centrepiece, instead of an eyesore, now the young bristlies have cleaned it.
