hey guys,
recently ive been thinking about trying a new waterchanging pattern but thought id get your opinions on it before i kill all my fish lol. i was thinking about changing my water everyday or every other day at about 5-10% of the water each time. would that cause problems with the chem in my water, or increase the stress of the fish by doing that?

thanks for advice,

Shouldn't hurt a thing, as long as you properly treat the water. Fresh water is the best preventive medicine there is for fish. For just changing water without a gravelvac put a piece of hose in a corner of the tank a few inches down, and siphon off a little.

Do be aware that changing 10% daily for a week is not the same as a 70% water change, the same as two 50% water changes is not the same as one 100% water change, it equals a 75% water change. Someone better at math could easily figure out 10% daily times 7 days.

10% daily x 7 days is equal to one 65% change.
