I need to ask a question. In the area where i live, we have poor water quality, and i was wondering, wat if i boil the water and then let it sit for a few days in gallon containers then put it into mi fish tank. If i do this, will mi fish die or will they have a better chance of not getting any disease and live? Any answer will be appreciated. Thanks, jhet.

What do you exactly mean by poor water quality? Is it tainted with bacteria? Sewage Waste?

Or just tainted with phosphate/nitrates?

You could boil the water if you liked, or get a water purification system of some kind (it would probably be useful for drinking and household water as well).
