Probably sounds like a silly question but how many gallons is 96 litres,
and 120 litres.
Thanks.

If I remember my metric conversions...

96 litres = 25 gallons

120 litres = 30 gallons

These are rough guesses

Hi, when you calculate your volume in gallons, don't forget to subtract about 10-20%, depending on how much substrate and decorations you have. The figue given by the manufacturers is for an empty tank, but once it's full of gravel, rocks, ornaments and everything else, the volume goes down quite a bit.

Gad, you have a good point there. I might only have about 50 gallons of water in my 90gal reef what with all the rocks I have.. :D

And remember to medicate your tank - declorinator, or any other water addititives - according to how much water is actually in the tank. A lot of people unwittingly use too much of their additives because they calculate on the volume of an empty tank.
