Hi

I have a pond in my garden when i change the water i use a product to condition the water, I would like to know if i could use this when adding my tropical tank water?

The size of the bottle i purchased from my local fish retailer was very small compaired to the one i purchase for my pond yet they are almost the same price.

It's probably the same stuff, just more concentrated so you would have to be careful on the dosage. I don't think it would harm your fish, but you don't want to risk it either.

Some member on here emailed or mailed someone at Tetra to ask about their water conditioner, and the chemicals were safe for fish up to about twice the dosage for the entire tank (I.e. at 1 teaspoon per 10 gallons, a 20 gallon tank could get 4 teaspoons of chemicals). I'd say that, therefore, so long as you dose it accurately, it shoudl still be ok.
