there are two types, the feathery ones and the normal looking leaves which ones do i submerge to plant?

What ones do i plant submerged though? The feathery sort of leaves or the other ones?

I really like water sprite but no shops here seem to carry it.

I had a 10gal, as a teen, that was full of plants and I would occasionally take about half of what I had to a store and get some store credit for it. It does grow very fast.

The two types are actually the same plant. The leaves shape acording to wether they are floating or planted. the floating ones will develope the broad leaves and the planted ones will develope more feathery leaves. It does not mater which you actually plant, they will just change as they grow.

Thanx for your help guys! I planted both of the leaf types about a week ago and none of the seem to be growing upwards they only seem to be producing new plants that break off like what they do when they are floating... :S

when there is to little light in the tank, the plant will reach for light by either break lose and float or break down and grow new plant that will be able to break away and float.

So if i get the right lighting it should grow up from the gravel instead of breaking off?

If you get the right lighting it should completely take over your tank in short time. If you keep this plant happy the growth is insane  I could cut it back to almost nothing and within 10 days you couldn't tell.
