Have you noticed that people often blink being photographed, dogs almost never?

This ist Bartl a purebred Do Khyi aka Tibetan Mastiff aka Cashmere Dog. And yes he is a ball of fluff.

He is a gentle giant, kind and playful and he will devour you in one bite when you enter my property without my permission.

He came to me at the age of 3 months and turned 4 last November. Almost 80 cm / 2.6 ft at the shoulder, about 50 kg / 110 lb

This is Cinnamon. She is a class pet in my 1st Grade classroom. I don't have a second picture with POTM sign because I'm at home. She is super gentle and tolerant. I always have a pet hamster in my classroom. Kids write letters to Cinnamon and she (me) writes back to them. We are celebrating her birthday in April. They usually live 2 years. She was preceded by Fluffy, Midnight and many more before that (the kids name them). She is known throughout the school.

One of my last dart frogs. It's a female. She's a Dendrobates tinctorius alanis combined with two other frogs (one is a Dendrobates tinctorius “azureus, this is a blue colored one") . They all have their own spots in the paludarium. But this one is one of my more colored ones. They go along well together. This one is day active. They always say that only males sing. Which is true but females can make a very soft sound as well.
A dart frog which occurs in rain forrests in Surinam and French Guiana. The male has sadly died. As long as we don't give any food that consist of poison (which they do find in free nature), no poison will be produced through their poison glands on their backs. So, you can hold them in and on your hand without any problems. You only should be aware that your hands are wet. For the their skin is very delicate.
So, this will be my entry for this month's contest.
Once all my frogs have lived their lives out, I'll get rid of this paludarium.
