Upgrading

HI, im looking for external filters, if i got one that was more than big enough for my tank e.g one that filters 250 litres when i have got a 70 litre tank would it matter.Because soon i am upgrading to a larger tank and want the external filter now becuse mine isnt adequet (the juwel built in filters).Many thanks.Also can anyone suggets a EXTERNAL filter that is cheap!

Well if your breaking the 70 ltr tank down with the new tanks arrival than buy somethign that has the flow rate to accomidate the new tank so when you get the new tank you can just bring over the fully mature filter and you'll be good to go to start stocking!

Make sure that you get a filter that can handle atleast 4x the volume of the tank. Your 250 on a 70 ltr is a little under filtered for my liking
