Ugghhh!

I am overgrown with staghorn algae. My lighting is 30 watts compact fluorescent in a 10g. I guess this is too much. Should I switch my lighting to 15 watts of fluorescent?

Yeh with that much light you'll need lots and lots of plants to prevent the algae. If you don't want the hassle of a high light tank, then cutting the light back to 15w would do it. I have 15w over my 10g and it works well, get easier plants to grow without to much problem.

Thanks a lot. I was hoping for that awnser. Honestly, the orange-ish light it expels is UGLY!
